Procedure: Combine oats and milk in saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Stir until consistency is reached. Stir in other ingredients, heat through 1 minute. Serve with desired toppings and enjoy! Yields 1 serving. 278 cals | 7F | 47C | 9P ► SWEET POTATO TOAST: Ingredients: sweet potato slice, toasted goat cheese spread pomegranate arils figs, sliced pistachios, chopped fresh thyme Procedure: Carefully cut your sweet potato into slices, about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch thick. Place slices in the toaster and toast on high. You may need to repeat the toasting 2-3 times, depending on your toaster. They should be soft and cooked through, but slightly crisp on the outside. Top with spreadable goat cheese, fresh figs, pomegranate arils, chopped pistachios, and fresh thyme. This is where it all began for the Brothers Green, mastering the Bacon Egg and Cheese then moving our way up the food chain. -Menu- 01:14 - Breakfast Burrito 03:28 - Banana Peanut Butter HOC Special 05:22 - PB and J stuffed French Toast 07:26 - Instant Blueberry Oatmeal 09:19 - Poached Egg Sandwich with Spinach and Bacon Breakfast burrito INGREDIENTS: Salsa Shredded cheese Avocado Tortilla Eggs Turn your grease tray upside down and prop the front of your George Foreman grill on it to prevent food from sliding off and saving all that extra flavor. Grease and heat your grill and crack an egg over it. Add cheese over your egg. Place a couple of tablespoons of salsa over the cheese. Slide your egg off the grill and onto your tortilla. Top w/ avocado. Roll your tortilla up into a burrito, place on your grill and close. Remove when tortilla develops those nice and crispy grill marks and enjoy! Banana Peanut Butter HOC Special INGREDIENTS: Peanut butter Raisins Bananas Honey Cinnamon swirl bread Toast your cinnamon swirl bread in your toaster oven, Spread peanut butter over your bread. Finely slice your banana and layer over your toast. Drizzle with honey. Sprinkle with raisins. Grub time! Hangover be gone!!! Peanut Butter and Jelly stuffed French Toast INGREDIENTS: Challah bread Peanut butter Jelly Eggs Honey Slice a big chunk of challah. Make a slit in the middle of your bread, making sure not to slice all the way to the ends. Stuff the slit with peanut butter and jelly. Wipe off excess. In a bowl crack open an egg and whisk. Grease and heat your George Foreman grill. Dip your bread into the egg, making sure that it is well coated. Transfer to your heated grill and close. To make sure it is evenly being toasted flip your French toast in the grill until both sides are evenly toasted. Drizzle with honey! Amazing, simple AND delicious! Blueberry Oatmeal INGREDIENTS: Oats Almond milk Pecans Blueberries Honey In a hot pot toss in 1 cup of oats w/ 1.5 cup almond milk. Mix and adjust accordingly until it reaches your desired consistency. Stir in ½ cup of blueberries, mashing the berries while you stir. Place oatmeal in a small bowl and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Drizzle with honey and serve ☺ Poached Egg Sandwich INGREDIENTS: English muffins Egg Bacon Spinach Sriracha Fill your hot pot with water until it begins to boil and turn heat down to low. Place eggs in the hot pot and cook for about an hour for a poached egg. If you are in a hurry just boil in hot pot for 7 minutes. Discard water from hot pot. Place in ice water immediately to stop it from cooking. Lay down 3 strips of bacon on a paper towel and microwave for about 5 minutes. Add a splash of oil to your hot pot. Add in your spinach and wilt. Remove spinach. Butter the ring in the middle of your hot pot, place your English muffin on the ring and allow it to toast. Remove. Place your spinach on your toasted English muffin. Top with bacon and poached egg. Drizzle with Sriracha and serve! Here is what you'll need! One Muffin Tin Three Healthy Breakfasts Servings: 6 per recipe Banana Oat Muffins INGREDIENTS 1 banana, mashed 1 egg ½ teaspoon vanilla ¼ cup honey 1 teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon salt ½ cup Greek yogurt 1 cup milk 1½ cup oats Optional Toppings Strawberries Blueberries Apples Blackberries Raspberries Nuts PREPARATION Preheat oven to 350ºF/180ºC In a medium-sized bowl, mash a ripened banana until mostly smooth. Add egg and stir Add vanilla, honey, cinnamon, salt, and Greek yogurt, and mix. Then stir in oats, then finally, stir in milk. Fill each cup of a six-cup muffin tin a quarter of the way full. In each respective cup, add strawberries, apple, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and almonds, then fill cups to the top with the rest of batter. Bake 30 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy! Customizable Veggie Egg Cups Serves 6 (per recipe) INGREDIENTS 5 eggs Salt, to taste Pepper, to taste Mix and match fillings: Spinach, chopped Tomatoes, diced Onion, finely diced Bell pepper, finely diced Broccoli, cut into small florets Cheddar cheese PREPARATION 1.Preheat oven to 350ºF/180ºC 2. In a measuring cup, beat the eggs until smooth. Set aside. 3. In a greased muffin tin, place your desired combination of fillings into each muffin cup. 4. Season each cup with salt and pepper. 5. Pour the beaten eggs into each muffin cup until the liquid almost reaches the top. 6. Bake at 350°F/180°C for 20 minutes, until set. 7. Enjoy! Granola Cups INGREDIENTS 1 banana, mashed ¼ cup honey 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 ½ cups oats 1 cup Greek yogurt Optional: preferred fillings (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, bananas, nuts, mango, pineapple, kiwi) PREPARATION In a medium-sized bowl, mash a ripened banana until mostly smooth. Add honey and vanilla, stir. Add salt, cinnamon, and oats. Press 2 tablespoons of mix into each cup, form a cup-shape. Refrigerate 1 hour and preheat oven to 350ºF/180ºC. Mix everything listed in muffin ingredients except blueberries into a microwave safe mug with a small whisk. Drop blueberries in, spreading them out. 2. In a small bowl, mix streusel ingredients with a fork until butter pieces resemble bread crumbs. 3. Sprinkle streusel on top of muffin batter, spreading out evenly across surface. 4. Microwave for around 1 minute or until firm in the center of the cake (timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary) 5. Enjoy immediately! French Toast in a Mug INGREDIENTS 2 slices of bread, buttered (White, challah, brioche) 5 tbps milk 1 egg 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or sugar) 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips/ chunks METHOD 1. In your microwavable mug, mix together the egg, milk, syrup until combined 2. Cut your bread into square bit sized pieces 3. Add the bread to the mug and press them down so they are submerged within the liquid 4. Add the chocolate chips to the mug and give a little stir to incorporate them in the mixture 5. This mug cake might take longer than other cakes. Microwave for 1/ 1 minute 20 seconds or until firm in the center of the cake. (timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary) 6. Let cool for about 1-2 minutes 7. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top 8. Enjoy immediately! Cinnamon Roll Mug Cake (Adapted from http://www.cookingclassy.com/2012/03/cinnamon-roll-mug-cake-made-in-3-minutes/) INGREDIENTS 2 Tbsp applesauce (or mashed banana) 1 Tbsp vegetable oil (any flavorless oil) 2 Tbsp milk 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 5 tbsp flour 1 ½ Tbsp packed light-brown sugar 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp salt Cream Cheese Icing 1 Tbsp Cream Cheese or Neufchatel Cheese, at room temp 2 Tbsp powdered sugar 1 tsp milk METHOD 1. Combine all ingredients in a mug then whisk together with a fork until combined and nearly smooth. 2. Microwave mixture on high power for 1 minute then check cake for doneness. If it is not fully cooked microwave for an additional 15 seconds. (timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary) 3. Serve warm topped with Prepare Cream Cheese Icing by mixing all of the ingredients together in a bowl by hand until smooth 4. Enjoy immediately!
